Trap has been set for the virtue-signalling Congress who allowed Obama to usurp their congressional responsibility by putting DACA in place by executive order so that they did not have to attach their names to it.

Now they will either need to let DACA die (as it should) or come up with legislation to continue it and answer to their constituents next November.

My guess is that DACA never sees the light of day as a law passed in Congress. I might be wrong but that's my gut feeling. And if I'm wrong and it does get to Trump, I predict that Trump will veto it and be sustained by the Supreme Court.

Trump is definitely one of the smartest men we’ve seen in the WH.

POS Ryan is already saying that Congress "must act." You can bet that Congress will suddenly get off its collective ass to pass something for illegals or tie it to Harvey aid or to the debt ceiling.

Just amazing how elected officials who swore to uphold the Constitution continue to put illegal aliens ahead of taxpaying citizens.

Actually we need to put this fire to Congress’ feet on EVERYTHING.

All of that unconstitutional rulemaking going on in the Executive Branch is just Congress trying to duck responsibility.

I think you are correct.

DACA will die on the vine because the dummies in Congress are too chickenshyte to deal with their Trump-loving, America first constituents! Once they see that they’ll be out of a job if they go anywhere near this, that’ll get them to give up on it.

If Congress writes it and Trump vetoes it, then congress can still over-ride the veto. I predict they won’t be able to and especially not in an election year.

So, they need to write something Trump will sign.

Sustained by the Supreme Court? A veto? How would that work? Are you suggesting a case would be heard suing the President for not signing a bill?

“Now they will either need to let DACA die (as it should) or come up with legislation to continue it and answer to their constituents next November.”

The RINOs refuse to repeal Obamacare, refuse to build the wall, refuse tax reform - but will pass this amnesty.

Just watch.

It will die for sure.

No way the GOP passes it, and like you said Trump will just veto it.

I kind of hope they do pass it.

America will then know exactly who to primary and we’ll get some good Trump supporters.
