China is backing North Korea’s play.
It is providing technology and more than likely weapons grade processed Uranium.
Another words, North Korea couldn’t do this without China’s calculated decisions to lead the world to the brink.
China is even worse than North Korea.
China doesn’t grasp how this little defensive move on its part could and apparently will blow back.
It acts in ignorance and unbelief.
Kim Jong-Un knows what it wants to do with the world and that’s to drag it down into misery.
China made it possible yet NK is worlds worse. Who would escape to go where? Point proven.
The tipping point came when NK gained autonomous ability to threaten (and seduce) the world — even China.
It’s an old story and it began with the forbidden fruit — the power to set up one’s own self centered moral calculus.
Did mankind make it possible and even egg it on (Eve to Adam)? Yes. Does the devil remain worse than the fallen humanity which imagines it is using, not being used by, the devil? Also yes.
Not unkindly I remind you — NK used China. China just thought it was using NK.

The only way I see a war between the US and NK to be good for China is that would be an excuse for China to invade NK and take control of the huge coal deposits (for steel mills) and rare earth minerals. For China, NK is becoming more of a problem than a friend. Remember that Iran, Pakistan, and Russia could trade favors with NK. There are probably some ex-nuclear scientists in Russia that could use extra money.
