Dear Hollywood leftists trying to make everyone think that all lesbians are beautiful,
Stop lying. Most lesbians are not what you make them out to be. Beautiful, well-adjusted models in relationships with other beautiful well-adjusted models happens only on screen. Why dance around the topic with big fancy words or a long disclaimer lead in when I can come right out of my not gay closet and say the obvious? Bluntness: for more than just the lesbian hairdo.
As mentioned in my earlier column, theres a move in Hollywood to gay all the things. Hashtag campaigns have erected all over the Twitterverse, like #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend, while earlier there was a move to make Elsa of Disneys Frozen a lesbian. Probably not because she wears a dress so much as shes an ice queen. Just a guess.
With the LGBT community accounting for 3 percent of the population, but 14 percent of characters in film and TV, those of us with eyes and basic deductive reasoning skills know youre pushing an agenda. That is yay for gay, dont fear the queer, never nag the
Oh snap, forgot something. TRIGGER-WARNING: super offensive words about gay stereotypes in media.
Look if youre going to gay all the things, theres nothing I can do to stop you. If you want to make a movie where its taboo to be straight
itll be a box office bomb, but its your right to make the film. It is, after all, still a free-ish country. Hollywood is a business. Make as much gay as you want, Ill just vote with my dollar and very likely not watch the gayness. Which means my Kindle will be getting plenty of exercise. But, this being an open letter and all, Im going to point out a number of things you

“As for lesbians, Ive seen some drop dead gorgeous ones.”
For every drop dead gorgeous lesbian I’ll show you ten who are fat, fugly, sick looking creatures.
i am so done with Washington. I just saw where George Clooney’s next movie is about suburbia of the 1950’s ya know, where everyone behind the white picket fence is either a repressed gay or a horrible racist asshole. All part of the hate AMerica and it’s history. I implore everyone not to go to the movies anymore. Or at least let’s make a list of people
Well it isn’t just the fact that the vast majority of lesbians in media are drop dead gorgeous, its also how numerous of them there are too. Like they number more in media than they do in real life, hell they number more in media than gay men do(even though they’re actually less in number than gay men in real life).
A show or movie with gays is called a homo-promo.
I thought Japan doesn’t have same sex marriage? Unless thats just an activist statement they’re doing?
I am sure most look like they had been beaten with an ugly stick.
I have known 3 who were absolute babes. Two of them I suspected but wasn’t sure. Maybe 40 years later they were public about it. The third I never knew for sure but would give good odds that she was. She also played softball.
interestingly, at least to me, none of them disliked boys. They were perfectly pleasant to be around. Still they were only attracted to girls.
My first thought exactly!!
I have a cousin who is.
She’s OK to look at, not bad actually (most of my cousins are quite attractive). Definitely more masculine, though.
What was funny (at a sad time) was our other cousin gaining the realization when we attended dad’s funeral. We’re all pushing 40 and I had to tell her why that woman was hanging around the receiving line.
I’m about 45 years post-high school and only recently arrived at the realization that my class had a male/female couple that were doing the double-beard thing for each other. The female was in a three-person play with me - Neil Simon’s “Star-Spangled Girl” when we were juniors. I was such a naïf...
He’s as pretty as they are.
They are the exceptions that prove the rule. The article is dead on.
Wow, I’m glad I never watched that show.
Same sex marriage has a SHELF LIFE. They are dragging children into their confusion—and those children WILL GROW UP. They will have a lot to say about never having known a mother, or never having known a father.
my niece is a lesbian, even though its hard for me to believe...and she is beautiful...never did sports nor follow them....very feminine...
This is anecdotal and not scientific at all, but when I lived in Denver, my neighbors were a lesbian couple and all they did was fight, every day and night. They seemed really unhappy.
It is an odd and sometimes tangled web just to know who was and who wasn’t.
One of the three I mentioned was about as pretty as a girl gets. She did date boys in high school but I still got that sense about her. Now there was a rumor around school that she and the other prettiest girl in school were having a lesbian relationship.
They were in fact best friends but the other girl flirted with boys and later got married. I knew she liked boys but was not certain that she may have experimented with her friend. Actually I suspect it strongly.
The third one did not date boys but like I said was friendly with them. I am not even sure why I got the vibe with her but I am pretty sure. She died of Lou Geghrig’s disease at a young age.
When they were young none of them pushed the fact that they were lesbians but that is almost certainly because it was not looked on as normal behavior and two fat ugly girls who were caught kissing were sent to the guidance counselor.
Of the 3 babes, one is now living with her wife or husband or whatever they call each other and has a facebook page where she defends it.
The second one works as an electolysis technician which seems to be a common lesbian job. She also belongs to a lesbian society.
The third one who I wasn’t certain about, could have been converted I think. Maybe not. She was so pretty that she could have had her pick of boyfriends to some extent.
