Saturday on MSNBC’s, anchor Alex Witt observed what she described to be a different President Donald Trump than usual as he was touring hurricane-ravaged areas in Texas.
“[I] have got to tell you, we’re seeing a remarkably different president than we have seen in the past,” Witt said. “I mean, we have seen him with his grandchildren, and he walks hand-in-hand with them, deplaning Air Force One, or seeing them perhaps on the balcony at the White House, you know. And we know that he is a doting grandfather in that regard, but this is different.”
Correction, people see him differently than you try to present him as.
Dems are in a bit of a spot.
Unless they express nothing but screaming hate for the President, they’ll lose the insane base that they’ve pandered to for years.
But otherwise they’ll lose everyone else.
And I’m just laughing.
I think they have put themselves in an impossible situation; the crazy voters they count on want to hear anti-Trump, impeachment 24/7 but other voters that they need in order to win elections and we the people in general are fed up with it.
Couldn’t happen to any group that deserves it more.
Also, he is learning on the job.
I mean in Art Of The Deal, he admits that the first foray or two into a new ‘line of business’ you’re going to make mistakes. That might be building a casino, or an ice rink or a TV studio, but he goes for it anyway, learns, adapts, hires, fires and eventually usually gets it done.
Charles Darwin said “It’s not the strongest of a species that survive. It’s not the smartest that survive. It is the individuals that adapt to the environment that survive.” Trump adapts. the fact that he’s not afraid to make a mistake and doesn’t wet his pants when he had to try something new seems to absolutely confound libs and others who are doctrinaire about things. If you get all your learning in an ivory tower, the guy who has to get something built on time and within budget who might not care about your biological purity test is hard to comprehend.
Different? I guess they’ve never watched any of his rallies and saw how he connects with the AMERICAN people.
And their criticism of Antifa, poll driven obviously, probably too late.
