GOP Senate Can’t Repeal Obamacare But Will Pass DREAMERS Amnesty

It’s as if the November 2016 election never happened.

Senator Thom Tillis went on FOX News Sunday in early August to brag about how he would push back on President Trump and his agenda.

Tillis wasn’t kidding.

After failing to repeal Obamacare Republican senators led by anti-Trump Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina are working on legislation to give DREAMERS amnesty. McClatchy reported:

Conservative lawmakers led by Thom Tillis are crafting a bill they call the conservative Dream Act that would provide a path to permanent residency to people brought here illegally as children, offering President Donald Trump an escape hatch on one of his most vexing immigration challenges.

Primary the RINO
If the RINO survives the primary, stay home for the general election.

It does not matter if the RINOs or the Democrats control Congress. They are the same, so why pretend we can pick the lesser of two evils? There is no “lesser”.

They want it known they work on the media & Dim’s agenda and not on what was expected by those who elected them.

Yet, I do not want a Dim majority to replace them.

Must move to a state where being active in the GOP can make a difference in the primaries.

Adios America (by Ann Coulter)

The illegal invasion needed to be stopped AND reversed - and soon. Failing to do so would mark the death knell in the culture and political landscape that once upon a time created a strong and free America.

We all knew the USA was hanging by a thread last November.

Anyone remember Kate Steinle? Didn’t think so.

Hate to see Tillis go, but a primary contender will take care of the problem.

Unfortunately he’s in until 2020. Looks like the rino replaced a dem for his current job though... for whatever that’s worth.

Then you’ll have the NeverTrumpers saying “who will save conservatism”. Well right now the DC RepubliCONS have thrown conservatism into the dumpster and lit it on fire. It lives only among the grassroots, and that’s us. There are no political leaders in DC who are willing to go to the mat for us except the president. We’ve been sold out so will it really be a big deal to start a new party. The RepubliCON Party has been dead for several years now!

When the Dems regain control of the county, do you imagine that they will be benevolent towards conservatives? Passing only bills that would meet with RINO approval?

Or do you imagine that concentration and re-education camps for those not toeing the party line would be better?

Getting rid of the filibuster and going with simple majority in the Senate will pave the way for (at first) a soft tyranny then a hard one. Do you relish the idea of a real Civil War?

Yes, there is a lesser, as the alterative is far worse. But, by all means, sit home during the next election; its the easy way to vote Democrat.

You folks think the ballot box and primary challenges are the solution? It is the equivalent of braking a speeding car with your feet.

Washington is so corrupt and embedded with globalists that we may not make it to our 250th birthday in 2026.

I am done with politics if the GOP fails to deliver for Trump and push through his agenda. I will merely stop posting on FR and continue to make contingency plans.

Which bears the question. We keep hearing that increases in minimum wages will increase the cost of our hamburgers and other goods and services. Yet by eliminating the "cheap labor express" wages in all sectors likely would increase. Isn't that going to have the same effect on the cost of hamburgers and other goods and services that a minimum wage increase would have? Wouldn't that also make automation, like we're seeing in fast foods and other establishments, become more cost competitive with labor thus killing more jobs?

I'm not one who is in big favor of bad immigration policies or illegals, but aren't don't the same economics apply to this as would apply to the minimum wage?
