A federal judge ordered the FBI Thursday to disclose more details about how it handled its investigation into Hillary Clintons secret email account.
U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg said court papers describing the grand jury subpoenas the FBI obtained to compel information from Mrs. Clintons Internet service providers can be made public.
In doing so, he overruled objections by the Trump administration that had insisted making the information public would violate grand jury secrecy rules.
After reviewing the document in camera, the Court concludes that it largely rehashes information already made public, thus obviating any need for secrecy, the judge said.
Two groups, Judicial Watch and Cause of Action Institute, have been prodding the government for more information about the Clinton emails, and they cheered the judges ruling as a victory for transparency.

The emails are on a memory stick in a paste board box in Omaha.
Unfortunately, Seth Rich was not available for comment on the latest development.
Amen!
Finally some good news from a judge.
Could somebody please explain this thought process to me. Is it Sessions gumming up the works again?
I heard there may be some connection to those emails with Anthony Weiner. Wouldn’t that be such sweet irony? Her Heinous started out working for a committee trying to take down “Tricky Dick” Nixon. Now she may yet be taken out by another “Tricky Dick”. Karma’s a bitch. Discovery is her evil twin I always say.
Sessions is recused from anything having to do with the election... and since Hillary was the other candidate, that means he can't be involved in anything having to do with Hillary.
Unfortunately, everyone else at the DOJ is still pretty much Obama people since the Senate has been dragging its feet on confirming deputies and others to senior positions there.
I don’t factually know but it would seem like it.
There are many embedded 0bama stooges in the DOJ and probably some in the Comey FBI.
It’s past time for AG Sessions to take action.
Jeff Sessions died two weeks ago.
Prove me wrong.
If you establish a precedent that grand jury documents and/or testimony can be disclosed if the judge thinks there is nothing new there, or there is a public interest, then the grand jury process is corrupted for all future cases. There can be no assurance that the grand jury will maintain confidentiality. The sweeping powers of the grand jury to investigate and subpoena, compared to after an indictment is obtained, is based on the confidentiality of that information.
Its about time we see checks and balances constraining the FBI, IRS, CIA/NSA and Deep State Dept.
A well done “tip of the hat to the judge.”
Forgotten axiom Watergate - it’s not the crime that gets you, it’s the cover up.
The issue wasn't whether the public was interested. It's whether it was in the public interest.
I also understand the media are not ones to be relied upon, here's an example:
FBI Claims Lack of Public Interest in Hillary Clinton Emails Justifies Withholding Documents
Sessions did not recuse himself from anything having to do with the election did he? My recollection, just having to do with Russia.
That makes a lot of sense.
Thanks for that perspective.
