Seems the judge thinks the public is interested contrary to the FBIs statement.

The emails are on a memory stick in a paste board box in Omaha.
Unfortunately, Seth Rich was not available for comment on the latest development.

Finally some good news from a judge.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said he didnt understand why the Trump administration was still fighting the Obama administrations fight against transparency in this case. Could somebody please explain this thought process to me. Is it Sessions gumming up the works again?

Exactly - I had the same thought process. Doesn't the FBI report to the AG? Make the underlings in the FBI release the FOIA documents.

I heard there may be some connection to those emails with Anthony Weiner. Wouldn’t that be such sweet irony? Her Heinous started out working for a committee trying to take down “Tricky Dick” Nixon. Now she may yet be taken out by another “Tricky Dick”. Karma’s a bitch. Discovery is her evil twin I always say.

Unfortunately, everyone else at the DOJ is still pretty much Obama people since the Senate has been dragging its feet on confirming deputies and others to senior positions there.

I don’t factually know but it would seem like it.
There are many embedded 0bama stooges in the DOJ and probably some in the Comey FBI.
It’s past time for AG Sessions to take action.

If you establish a precedent that grand jury documents and/or testimony can be disclosed if the judge thinks there is nothing new there, or there is a public interest, then the grand jury process is corrupted for all future cases. There can be no assurance that the grand jury will maintain confidentiality. The sweeping powers of the grand jury to investigate and subpoena, compared to after an indictment is obtained, is based on the confidentiality of that information.

Its about time we see checks and balances constraining the FBI, IRS, CIA/NSA and Deep State Dept.
A well done “tip of the hat to the judge.”

"Seems the judge thinks the public is interested contrary to the FBIs statement." The issue wasn't whether the public was interested. It's whether it was in the public interest.

Sessions did not recuse himself from anything having to do with the election did he? My recollection, just having to do with Russia.
To: caseinpoint
That makes a lot of sense.
Thanks for that perspective.
