Sometime last year, I think right after the election in November, Obama said he was burying his people so deep into the DOJ that it would be impossible for Trump or any conservative to remove them.
Turning people from political appointees into standard government employees creates just that as they can't be fired except for cause and OPM doesn't allow for many to be fired even if they are shown cause. Especially if the persons are either minorities or leftists.
I wasn’t aware he said that but know there were well over a hundred hires that were documented in the “every single one” articles at PJ Media that were not political appointees.
I’m pretty sure that 100 plus hires were only the tip of the iceberg.
