This is how it's done. Unlike some moderate republican who would cower in the corner, Trump pulls the facts out of his pocket and shoves them into their democrat-worshiping faces!

I appreciate that the fellow who asked the question did not interrupt Trump, or try to disrupt him.

I listened to the press conference live on the radio. John Roberts asked why POTUS pardoned Sheriff Joe on Friday during the hurricane. (@sshat!). DJT was ready, BURIED the press with facts and especially the disgraceful pardons by Clinton and Obama. He hit a grand slam home run, it was awesome.

That said moderate Republican in your example wouldn’t have pardoned Joe to begin with.

Well, there's the problem. Republicans are supposed to cower before the media and lick the boots of media pundits. That Trump does not do so, but fights back, is evidence that he's crazy and needs to be removed via the 25th amendment.

I have heard a couple of self-described Republicans speak wistfully of getting Trump out that way. Both are retired college professors. One has a very liberal wife; I'm not sure why the other one is so anti-Trump.

It’s good he went over the crooked pardon of his past presidents but he needed more details about Joe. It was clearly a politally motivated prosecution to punish a man enforcing laws which Obama did not and would not enforce. The power to pardon was given to Presidents for precisely this remedy of abuse of judical and political power .

I don’t think he burried any one or handed them their butt.
He answered a question many have been asking in a detailed manner.

The room does seem a bit more civil but this question to me was not a big deal.

The response was planned and welcomed

From Wiki:

“Clinton’s critics alleged that Rich’s pardon had been bought, as Denise Rich had given more than $1 million to Clinton’s political party (the Democratic Party), including more than $100,000 to the Senate campaign of the president’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and $450,000 to the Clinton Library foundation during Clinton’s time in office.”

Net proceeds >$1.55M for the Clintons and their RAT party.

This is how it's done.

So Trump defends his own abuse of the process by listing the abuses of Obama and Clinton? What sense does that make?

And he didn't bother to answer the report's question which was completely valid.
