Compared to Sandy, others...the MSM definitely low-balled coverage before the storm. Joe Bastardi seemed to think this was going to be a much bigger event than the media/pundits were making it out to be, think he predicted cat. 2 rather than just the trop. storm/rain event most of the media was throwing out there.

As far as doing that on purpose...hoping the disaster could be used against Trump???....you be the judge. The networks still seem focused on Arpaio more than anything else.

Wouldn't put it past the evil pr#cks to pull something like that if you ask me...their hatred of Trump knows no bounds.

The MSM over-hypes every major weather event in the Northeast because 90% of the MSM lives in the NYC or D.C. metro areas. Hurricane Sandy was one of the few weather events of the last decade that actually lived up to the media hype.

Bastardi has been just about balls on accurate since before landfall. Even then he was predicting the loop and massive dirty side rain. At the time he and the Euro model both were predicting as much as 62.5 inches in places on the W side of Houston.

Bastardi looks to be close on this one all the way around.
