Arizona Congressman: People 'Furious' At McCain, Flake
wnd.com ^ | AUGUST 27, 2017

Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., is fully behind President Trump’s demand for full congressional funding for a border wall and both he and his constituents are exasperated with the state’s two Republican senators for offering no solutions of their own to overhaul or repeal Obamacare.

“They’re furious at our senators. There isn’t one meeting I don’t have where people are going off on our two senators. Leadership comes at a price and that means you have to put solutions on the table. That means that ‘No’ can’t be your answer, it’s going to be what it takes to be ‘Yes,'” said Gosar.

"What has the Senate done? They copped out on Obamacare. And to my senators (Republicans John McCain and Jeff Flake), if you didn’t like what the House put forward, where are your ideas?” said Gosar, a dentist who first ran for Congress as part of the tea party wave in 2010.

He says while politicians are posturing, people in his state are suffering from Obamacare.

We tried to Primary McCain with Kelly Ward in 2016, she got 40% of the vote, we will try to Primary Flake in 2018, amazing a Red of a state as Arizona has two dips__ts as Senators.

It is amazing. But look as South Carolina! How did these RINOs get so entrenched? Every damn one of ‘em should be kicked out of office pronto!

McCain is a ass, he only voted no on repealing the ACA to spite Trump. He’s a first class jerk, Flake is simply to stupid to know up from down.

“Gosar is a member of the House Freedom Caucus who fended off a primary challenger backed by national party allies in 2016.”

Maybe someone can explain this to me, but when a Republican wins and makes it into Congress, barring some really bad behavior, shouldn’t the national party SUPPORT HIM, rather than trying to primary him out...thereby putting the seat at risk of a Dem pickup.

Or is the Republican Party that PATHETIC that they spend donors’ money not to defeat Democrats, but to DEFEAT SITTING REPUBLICANS?

Most likely a typo by the writer of the article.

“Ward challenged McCain last year and lost badly in the primary”

Maybe someone can explain this - I’ve seen this description in Alt-Left media, but now in the Washington Times? She got 39% of the vote, and McCain just squeaked past 50%. That doesn’t sound like ‘losing badly’ to me, considering the decades of service and the media gushing (except in the fall of 2008) that McCain has.

Prime examples as to why the perversion known as the 17th ammendment needs to be abolished.

Texas has Cornyn... if you listened to his commercials, he is the most conservative guy on the planet. Too bad the reality doesn’t match the campaign. Politicians lie, what a shock.

Sounds to me like Corn Flake is getting too soggy even for Arizona. McCain will be gone by the mid term elections thanks to mother nature.

How did McCain escape prosecution on that one? Was he being protected because of his connections or what?

Cornyn is my senator, but he is a Mitch McConnell clone. He is dedicated to political correctness. He needs to go.

Because of Republican state parties who allow open primaries to keep their liberal Republican senators in office. This is a state party issue, they are the real liberals.
