That's it in a nutshell. No one has ever said that neutrality and objectivity can be perfectly achieved. People are fallible. But they remain essential goals if we are to rise above social interaction, including politics, conceived as nothing more than the exercise of brute power.

2,600 years of western civilization trying to grope its way to a higher standard, and leftists now dogmatically insist that the only thing that matters is whose boot is grinding whose face. And they intend to be wearing the boot.

Whatever happened to "speaking the truth to power" when one denies the very concept of "truth," and the quaint Judeo-Christian, western, rationalist, and probably heteronormative and male centric idea that truth has a claim on everyone?
