Dear God: I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, National Guardsman, or Merchant Marine feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

Hey radu!
I had an early day so I'm fading out fast.
I mowed and visited the dogs and the little puppy hellion today, but he seems to be getting more mellow as he continues to acclimate to his new home. He isn't gnawing on you as much, (the thumps to his nose stops it), but he is definitely a cutey.
NO plans tomorrow, just going to hang, boy will be starting school again Monday but I'll still see him often.
Your day good?

Well hay there! I was afraid you’d already headed for bed. Glad I caught you in the knick of time.
Got that mowing done before the heat settles back in, huh? Can’t blame you for that!
Glad the nose thumps are cooling the pup’s jets a little. That’s a bad habit, no matter how cute he is. And he sounds like a little doll. :-)
It was a good day here. Nice weather for the cruise-in I drove Baby to. Got to see several folks I haven’t seen in a while. It was a bit late when I got home and I had to feed the cats before fixing a little supper for myself and sitting down at the computer. Just finished the last bite.

Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
All is well here...not so much in the coastal area of Texas. So many cars underwater, so many homes destroyed, so many people without a home at this time.
Hope you and Bo have a good day! Did he find any critters yesterday?

The walk was so “challenging” that I have promised myself I will never do it “alone”, even with Penny, a compass, and my cell phone (no GPS. I don’t need no steenking GPS!)
But, right across the river, is one that is less challenging, as it follows an old rail trail.

"I VOW TO THEE, my country, all earthly things above, Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love; The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test, That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best; The love that never falters, the love that pays the price, The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.
And there's another country, I've heard of long ago, Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know; We may not count her armies, we may not see her King; Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering; And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase, And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace."

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS AND OUR BELOVED NATION!
Amazing Grace (Click)
By John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine.
When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun.
