Ryan breaks with Trump on Arpaio pardon
The Hill ^

Posted on 08/26/2017 2:48:18 PM PDT by ameribbean expat

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) disagrees with President Trump's decision to pardon former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday.

"The speaker does not agree with the decision," Ryan's spokesman Doug Andres told The Wall Street Journal. "Law-enforcement officials have a special responsibility to respect the rights of everyone in the United States. We should not allow anyone to believe that responsibility is diminished by this pardon."

Face it America, it is us and Trump vs the politicians. Republicans and Democrats are pushing on all of us.

We can only hope and pray the underdog wins this one.

See, if Arpaio had only targeted Swedish and Irish illegals in Arizona the corrupt judge would not have convicted him.

Yes, P. Ryan is wrong on many things. He is utterly incompetent, unable to perform duties as Speaker, appears to be a needy nerd. At the moment I cannot think of anything valuable that he has accomplished, just reminds me of Anthony Wiener whenever I see his face.

Trump says “The sky is blue”, Republican Congressional leadership disagrees. Every single time.

In order to break with trump, he first had to side with him on something.

One must look at his ballot and vote for worthy Republicans. There will be no worthy Democrats on the ballot. But I would vote D to get rid of Ryan.

They won’t go with Nehlen: they are irrevocably committed to Ryan. Wikipedia even pulled Nehlen’s article: determined he was “not notable.” Still I would gladly vote for Nehlen.

Ryan should be a team player and support the President’s actions. So glad he and Romney are not in the White House because they’d be Democratic light.

This Wisconsinite flips Paul Ryan the middle-finger salute and thanks Sheriff Arpaio and President Trump for their service.

Maybe I missed it but I dont remember seeing Ryan speaking out against the end of Obama term pardons for crack heads, more Puerto Rican terrorists and other deviants, as well as those in his 7th/6th/5th/4th/3rd and 2nd terms...........

You knew this guy was a fool when he couldn’t out-debate the
“Dumbest man in the Senate” Slow Joe and stood mute when
the Muslim in Chief patronizingly insulted him.

Yet somehow he was installed as Majority Leader. Where is the
conservative House GOP contingent to speak out against this nonsense
and remove this boob?

Ryan breaks with Trump on everything, so that is nothing new. In fact I have come to expect that reaction from “Lying Ryan”.

Did Ryan make a similar statement when Obama pardoned and commuted the sentences of actual CRIMINALS?

It’s very hard not to see past these current events, but let me be so presumptuous as to recommend an antidote to these stories, reports, etc.

From Matthew:
They will hand you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. At that time many will fall away (Rino disease!) and will betray and hate one another, and many false prophets will arise and mislead many. Because of the multiplication of wickedness (e.g. Antifa, BLM, DNC, GOPe) , the love of most will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

Unfortunately, most believers in Christ do not yearn for his return, scoff at it, dismiss it, etc. That disappointing group may have to face a very much empowered Antifa and embittered BLM.

The times are getting so much worse... our only hope is the Lord’s return. We all will long for Him to come and take us out of this mess... I realize this is a fantasy to many, because it’s not happened before... but it feels like we are living in the wild west, and the words in the Bible points to God’s intervention for His people. He shall return in like manner.

The parable of the ten virgins (or the wise and foolish virgins)is very instructive. A case can be made that all ten were believers (e.g.. lamps, oil, all bridesmaids, etc.) Only some were taken when the groom appeared. These might typify believers who were expectantly wait the Lord’s return and not ensnared with the cares of the world.

After 45 years of studying this I’ve come to believe in a partial rapture. The other believers will suffer the Tribulation.
