Every time the nation appear divided, there’s always someone from Washington, whether it be a president, a senator, or a member of Congress that calls for bridging divides. We saw that with the assassination attempts on Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) and Steve Scalise (R-LA) in 2011 and 2017 respectively, though everyone returned to their partisan corners within days or weeks. It’s the nature of politics these days. When it comes to Black Lives Matter and the Trump administration, it’s no shocker that the two sides vociferously disagree on everything. Should they meet? Well, according to the co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Patrisse Cullors, that’s not happening. Cullors said that Trump is “the epitome of evil,” who represents all the evils that are interwoven into this country, with capitalism being one of those evils. In short, she said that we wouldn’t have sat down with Adolf Hitler as a reason to reject any possibility of meeting with the president or his administration. Cullors said this in an interview with the Los Angeles Times [emphasis mine]:

The rhetoric is just out of control...Trump...evil? Really?
He’s been in the public eye since the 1970’s. He’s a playboy and he has an eye for the women. He also has gaudy tastes and he is certainly a ‘heavy lift’ to get a bead on....even for those who support him, but evil? What in his back ground suggests that he is evil” I’ve seen him on Oprah, Late Night TV, and other forums over the last many years. No one has ever suggested he has any hatred in his soul over those times.
He does plan on enforcing immigration laws though.
The problem isn’t that he’s evil. No, the problem is he doesn’t cower in the face of the grievance society or the PC police. The political left has finally met an opponent they can’t affix the ‘genital clamp’ on to and it’s driving them crazy.
I’ll admit that Trumps rise to power has shocked me. He is so unconventional and he does say some crazy stuff, but more than anything, he fights back and that’s what people love about him. The political left is simply not used to that and they are rattled.

Exactly! Nobody did. POTUS never reached out to them and doesn’t want to meet with them. This is like the Warriors team all over again, they’ve been running their mouths about how they will not meet with POTUS after their NBA championship wine. Problem is POTUS never invited them to the WH.

Nigerian..."Opal Tometi" gets a lot of traffic to speak and raise money when the BLM is out there doing violence....and in between she simply glides on til the next "outbreak" to keep her cash flow going. She loves the notority along with getting her face done etc....
