So now that we know foreign governments have “weaponized” software, it’s time to end the H1B visa program since it’s being used as a Trojan horse by the Russians, Chinese, and Indians ...

Our own cybersecurity firms have security clearance with the FBI.
This proves nothing.

Kaspersky is far and away the best malware protection I’ve found. Had one problem after another until I installed it.

Kaspersky doesn't cooperate with American intelligence agency requests for back doors and proprietary information.
As a result their software is better able to detect American intelligence originated hacks.
So the question becomes which government are you more concerned about snooping your information and which government is more likely to do so.

Yeah. Sad that I trust the Russian government more than I trust my own.

..... CBS News recently confirmed a certificate has surfaced ..... This is a meaningless assertion, promoted by a meaningless company. I don't believe a word the "CBS News" company says about anything.
Let's see a picture of the alleged "certificate". I can read Russian and can translate it (if it even exists) to see whether it says anything remotely comparable to the claim.

This is just a way to keep the “Russia hacked the election!” fantasy in the news. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Kaspersky products.

The CIAFSB's very own softare to spy on Americans. Fixed it for you.
Although realistically Kaspersky offers spying opportunities equally to all spy agencies.
