Just LOOK at that complex C-5!
And yet, it ain’t even alive.
‘Twas made by just men,
with rulers and pen.
‘Tis truth; I ain’t one to jive.

You make Christianity and Conservatism look bad.
All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

They are sub virus protein molecules that cant even be said to be alive, yet they are responsible for Mad Cow disease. And arsenic molecules are dead elements; yet they'll kill ya.

Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
John 9:6-7
After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the mans eyes.
Go, he told him, wash in the Pool of Siloam (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
Ain't it amazin' what a fella can do with some DIRT!!??!!

o Eternal (everlasting) lifeIt seems to me that THIS would be a HECK of a lot easier to 'evolve' than the various methods of REPRODUCTION that are found on Earth!

You've got a point there. But so far, one of the best areas we have achieved high marks in is the early effortless deaths of poor, innocent defenseless other humans.
The test cass of buffalo and passenger pigeons hav worked pretty wel . . . ( /sarc ).

You drive people away from religion and belief with your condescending attitude. Ah, the self righteous attitude of some who attack the Biblical Christian teaching on creation, minimizing the supernatural of God and then attack those who challenge this premise as driving people away from religion.
One should be driven away from such religion as your posting supports in preference to that of Christ, who upheld special creation.

Yes, then each half grows back to the size of the “parent”, and the process repeats.

On no, we’d always be here because here is where we are. Late night physics bullsessions are the best. Especially once you graduate from beer to whiskey!

"Imagine this. We go to a planet and find a working computer with a complex program running it. is the first thing scientists postulate is that these materials just self assembled and started working on its own?"
I believe you just described DNA.

Easy reply. Just like evolution, a change like that has never been observed. Thus, how can one make an accurate estimation of something never seen to function?
Secondly, there is no evolution organ in the body. No one has a clue what part of the body actually constructs or thinks up new blueprints. Instead, circular logic is used to say what is created proves it must have been created through evolution. Its just another way for people to escape acknowledging God, but they deceive only themselves.

I mean, really, every self-proclaimed atheist should consider this: What do you think is the probability that the sun would be the right distance from our earth and the right size, and that the moon would also be the right size and at the right distance, such that they would appear to be EXACTLY the same size in the sky so as to reveal the sun's corona during a total solar eclipse? HMMM??? I wonder if anyone would even try to do that math. Maybe the geniuses who make global warming weather models could attempt that math. Should they factor in the probability of the right kind of star since most stars are the wrong kind of stars to support life. I doubt that we have managed to detect an earth sized planet 93ish million miles from the right kind of star.
They frankly don't know why planets exist so it gets pretty tricky to model probabilities of size and distance but that level if ignorance certainly doesn't stop global warming modelers.
