George Foreman puts Kaepernick in his sad little place for sitting out the national anthem

Boxing legend George Foreman leveled a knock out blow to former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others who don’t value the “privilege” of patriotism.

The former world heavyweight boxing champion took down Kaepernick and NBA star Kevin Durant for attention seeking instead of being grateful during an “Offended America” podcast on Monday.

“I love the United States. I love the flag. But there are a lot of people who haven’t found that reason. They don’t strive,” Foreman said.

“They haven’t been brought up with people who were patriotic to even point them in the right direction,” he said, referring to Durant, who recently said he would not visit the White House with the NBA champion Golden State Warriors to meet President Trump, and Kaepernick who has been in the headlines for kneeling during the national anthem.

“A lot of people died so that they can have that privilege,” the 68 year-old added, calling these and like-minded athletes “sore losers” for their behavior.

Supporters of the former 49ers quarterback gathered outside the NFL’s New York City headquarters on Wednesday demanding Kaepernick be signed by a team before the start of the National Football League’s new season, claiming he is being blacklisted.

Foreman recalled a tine when patriotism meant something to athletes like himself.

“We came in the era we were patriotic. The greatest day of my life was when I put on my colors, representing the United States in the Olympics,” the former boxer said, recalling his Olympic gold medal win in 1968.

Now a successful entrepreneur, Foreman praised Trump and credited him with helping him out of his bankruptcy. Trump sponsored the Pay-Per-View fight in 1991 when Foreman came out of retirement and challenged Evander Holyfield for the title in Atlantic City.

“I was broke, too. Bankrupt,” Foreman said. “But [Trump] put me back. He was part of writing those checks so I could be back on the wealthy side again. So I’ll always be grateful to the entrepreneur Donald Trump. And now President Donald Trump. He’s a good President. A lot of people don’t like him, but evidently more do, because he was elected President of the United States.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~But Trump is racist?

So all those rich hypocrites who accuse the president of being a racist didn’t help George Foreman, but President Trump did. Actions speak louder than words.

These Snowflakes have been handed everything from Participation Trophies to bogus grades all their life and now they think they can demand other people to do their bidding? Sorry, Bucko, but that's not the way the real world works. Go home to your parent's basement where you belong and STFU.

Suck it up snowflakes, a real man is talking. A man from an age people had to fight to get somewhere and not think they are entitled to something just because of how they were born.

Some idiots would say I'm white and he's black and we have nothing in common. I say bullshit! He looks like my countryman, my fellow American, there ... and that's all that matters to me.

Colin just isn’t a good QB, otherwise he would have been picked up like Michael Vic....

It’s really the same reason why Tebow wasn’t picked up.

Perhaps he could be a suitable backup, but he brings a lot of distractions with him. In Tebow’s case, it wasn’t necessarily his fault, it’s more to do with how special of a person he is, and how people naturally gravitate towards someone like that. But, still, it presented a distraction in the locker room.

I don’t remember President Trump saying a word about bailing Foreman out and letting him have a 2nd chance. Racist dog that he is. /sarc

I still want to go to Foreman’s church and hear him preach sometime.

George came up to Anchorage Alaska back in the day to preach at a local church that invited him. He was also there to train for that last big comeback.

The Full Gospel Business men arranged for a large meeting room at the Youth Center.

George came out and spoke to us. He presents the Gospel in non-traditional ways, but when was Mr. Foreman ever going to follow convention. He earned my respect that day. He is true to his convictions and that is a lesson for all of us.

I’ve heard him talk about his life story on the radio.

Even without his fists he’s been a fighter to see that his life was not just a one act play.

Another good picture would be of the Soviet fighter’s face after the beating George gave him in the Olympic final. It was maybe the most thorough a$$ kicking in Olympic boxing history. His raised flag gesture juxtaposed the raised fist protests by some US track and field athletes.
