Dissident political prisoners.
You made a good point about only the adults being affected.
I saw a future weapons program a few years back on the History or Discovery channel and the US was developing focused sonic weapons to be used to either disperse crowds at low levels of power or incapacitate hardened targets at high intensity.
Let’s not leave out the fact that some of this could be bogus claims, especially if disability claims are up for grabs. I work with allot of veterans as a counselor and one in particular made an interesting comment. He’s a full bird Colonel who commanded an Air Evac unit in Iraq. He claims about 65% of the troops under him claimed PTSD, some were simply ground support who never saw combat. When asked what he thought the reason was he simply said disability money! He flat out said that while some were genuine the majority was bogus. I’m a Vietnam Vet and have seen many of the same claims well after the fact. One in particular served in the same company with me in the A Shau. We were with D Company 1/502 101st infantry Air Mobile. His position withing the company kept him pretty well out of the air and behind the wire. 7 years ago at a reunion he tells me he’s been collecting disability for PTSD. He left the base 3 months prior to the Easter Offensive in 72 when we were overrun by the NVA. He never saw actual combat.
This acoustic attack technology must also be operating in Washington DC. There are quite a few brain damaged people there. /s

Traumatic brain injury and neurological damage? You know it wasn't developed by the Cubans.
Nonsense. When I was assigned in Warsaw, our residences in the Embassy compound were bombarded by microwaves. The Soviets did it big time in Moscow forcing us to install metal "screens" to thwart it. They used microwaves to spy on us. Some later effects by some of our personnel included various kinds of blood cancers.
The Cubans are using "acoustic attacks" as a means to glean information. Without having more details, I can't assess what they may be doing. However, this is not self-inflicted.
As for the "children", I don't know if our diplomats are even bringing their children to Cuba and in what numbers. There is an International School in Havana.
It should also be noted that some Canadian diplomats are also experiencing something similar. Canadian diplomats in Havana also affected by suspected 'sonic device' which left US officials with hearing damage
How about Kimy and his NORKs!
Vietnam
Iraq
Afghanistan
What a heaping, steaming pile of BS. Our people are being injured. They are not trying to get disability benefits. Are the Canadians also trying to get increased benefits. See my post #27.
“Thats a serious reply, BTW. Because they could. Who better to test it out on.”
As I think about it, it makes perfect sense. You wouldn’t risk reprisal from an administration that you thought would respond against you.
Because every sovereign country in the world new Obama was a pussy and was only put in power so that every third world $hithole on the planet could expand their scum ring.
Now congress and medical researchers/institutes might deal honestly and directly with helping the 1,000s upon 1,000s of Americans whose lives are destroyed by a tbi.
I bet Obama gave them the equipment
All “wars” which were given up on or are otherwise inconclusive.
You call it what you want to but that doesn’t change the fact that bogus claims are a possibility and have happen many times in the past. The CO I quoted was just one example.
You mentioned ‘a can of worms’!!! If SSID were truly put in newspapers and/or public, we’d gag at who receives tax payer funded lives.
We are no longer a Christian country as if we were, these persons would work out their issues (and this is not only war caused) with the only One who could help.
When one realizes that for each dollar handed out by the governments, someone has to work and pay that dollar, maybe we’ll get back to understanding balance budgets on all levels of government.....maybe!!!
Just thinking off-hand and simplistically, pulsed acoustic waves (i. e. sonar) can penetrate and pass through substances insulated from optical (visible, infrared, gamma rays) or electromagnetic (radio, microwave) spectral access.
The acoustic waves of rather pure pulses could be modulated by sound waves within the environment in the path, with the resultant emerging waves being recorded and deconstructed by differential Fourier analysis to obtain the sound patterns (speech, tones, etc.) separated from the injected sonar-type waves. Both reflected and transmitted pulses can be analyzed for speech and movement, if this guess is a possibility.
The only defense would seem to be a totally comprehensive insulation from injected acoustic signal by completely absorbing it ere it reaches the ambassadorial offices, or by detecting acoustic emitters/sensors incorporated into the physical design of the building and/or each room.
It is this last phase that would be suspect.
It is one thing to sweep the room for transducers that convert acoustic waves to electronic signal, but quite another to discern the presence of detectors that are coupled with visible (fiber optics) or acoustic methods. IMHO. Actually and obviously, the human cephalic structure can be damaged severely by acoustic shock, citing the sports of boxing and football, the combat exposure to explosive events (used to call it shell-shock), or employment noises like riveting, jack-hammers, sirens, constant humming of large magnetic inductors or transformers (NMRI which most certainly tracks physical activity of the brain, or large power-plant voltage transformer/inverters).
Gives the layman some food for thought as well as requests for explanation of this kind of experimentation and snooping.
In my VA volunteer service experience I became acquainted with a seriously brain-function-disabled veteran who as a radar engineer got his head in the way of a high-power microwave beam, and almost completely lost his control of motor skills, although he could communicate laboriously that there was nothing really wrong with his critical thinking faculty. And I myself, having undergone the shock of having my cranium opened for a meningiotomy and resealed, temporarily lost the control of transmitting thoughts by speech (but not through writing). Eventually I pretty much recovered from it, but I don't know now whether my more frequent memory lapses come from aging only, or if there is a residual loss of mental agility aggravated by the surgery- and/or meningioma seizure-induced damage. Stress and/or sleeplessness can make that effect temporarily worse.
We ought to be diven more, much more information as to what is affecting our diplomats, as well as how and why.
