NOW PLAYING US probing possible Cuba role in hearing loss of diplomats U.S. diplomats were diagnosed with mild traumatic brain injuries and possible damage to the central nervous system from exposure to an “acoustic attack” in Cuba last year, CBS News reported Wednesday, citing obtained medical records.
The records suggest that the apparent attack caused more extensive damage than previously reported. The diplomats stationed in Havana reported symptoms that resembled concussion and hearing loss.
Following months of investigation, U.S. officials concluded that the diplomats had been exposed to an advanced device that operated outside the range of audible sound and had been deployed as sonar attacks either inside or outside their residences, Fox News previously reported. It was not immediately clear if the device was a weapon used in a deliberate attack, or had some other purpose

Were any of the personnel injured anyone the Obama admin had it in for? Thought of as expendable? Didn’t give a cr@p about?

When the story came out about ten days ago...it was widely noted that only the employees and their spouses were affected....NOT the children.
The fact that so little has been reported on this....one can not deduce if the couples work in the same general building. Often the embassy staffs will hire the wives as low-cost workers to support the embassy. If this were all true...then I’d ask if all of these people work in the same general area and inside of a vault.
My suspicion is that the US security folks went added some new feature to a vaulted area that added (by accident) sonic waves. This in some way might have been created by our own folks.
Note as well...this was a totally new design structure, and they had a chance to incorporate new technology into it. If none of the kids were affected by the acoustic situation...then it’s not around the home area/apartment region....it’s at the office.

There's a well known passive eavesdropping technique first used in 1945: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thing_(listening_device) I'm sure there are much more modern variants including many types of active devices. It's not unreasonable to think that sonic waves may have been added to thwart sonic eavesdropping.
Close the damned thing now.
