See a lot of that smoke on the Wyoming webcams, too. They say it’s from Montana...and we could smell the smoke when we entered Yellowstone National Park.

Darn the luck the heat’s going back to your area. I hoped the triple-digit temps were through with y’all.
We’re going to have temps in the low to mid 80s for the next week, which is a welcome relief.

It will be nice if the gaps can be filled in with more Jeeps and other military items soon. There are several people around here with military Jeeps but as of now, they’re showing them at car shows. They’re always a big hit at the shows and have been restored beautifully. Maybe some of them will be sent to the museum in the future. Ya never know.

What project are y’all working on now? This isn’t what retirement is supposed to be about....is it? :)

I’ve seen a few partial eclipses but having the chance to see a total was too good to pass up. It was 90-something percent here and didn’t get as dark. Hubby’s cousin said the lighting was like a storm moving in.

My few pix of the sun came out ok but I’m still going online to enjoy others’ pix and videos.

I just love space stuff. It’s fascinating. Very hard to beat nature. :-)
