From The Hill:
House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), who was close to Trump during the 2016 campaign, is warning that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and McConnell could lose their jobs if they fall short on tax reform and funding the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Bottom line: if Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell can get the presidents agenda done, they can probably keep their jobs, Meadows said in an interview.
If Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell cant get the presidents agenda done, I dont know that they get to keep theirs, nor do I know if I get to keep mine. Weve got to deliver. Its critically important we do that in a way that conservatives have long espoused, he said.
GOP leaders, meanwhile, are scrambling to deflect blame.
Ryan is highlighting the number of bills the House GOP has passed, a tacit complaint that it is the Senate where Republican legislation is dying.
The House is focused on getting the Republican agenda executed, Ryan said at a town hall event on Monday.
I wish I could say the Senate was moving as fast. Of the 300-plus bills we passed out of the House, 260 are still sitting in the Senate, Ryan said. So we got a ways to go. And weve got to get more work done.

Ryan and McConnell have terrible track records imo and need to go.
“Execute”? Did somebody say “execute”?
Well that might be exactly what needs to happen to Ryan and McConnell.
Meadows is giving the swamp a pass on not repealing Obamacare.
Both need to go, now.
Screw McConnell and Ryan. Both of them have been there long enough to have had a positive effect. They have done nothing but suckle on the DC teat.
In other words, this is an admission that Ryan and McConnell don't coordinate (or are incapable of coordinating) a strategy the way that Reid and Pelosi always did.
It's as if the infield and outfield aren't playing the same game plan.

Money talks. The House could threaten to shut down spending and probably get every stinking thing they wanted out of the Senate, but Ryan is a gutless, nutless libtard.
We should at least beat the crap out of them.
The GOP game plan is "Stop Trump At All Costs." The game plan is working perfectly.
I hope not.
I hope Republicans voters have wised up and now know that most of their elected are traitors.
“The GOP game plan is “Stop Trump At All Costs.” The game plan is working perfectly.”
It’s difficult at best to argue with that assessment.

Yeah that ain’t gonna happen
They won’t, and they need to go.
Yes.
Either that or simply THROW THE BUMS OUT. Don’t know why we can’t make that happen.
Who would they need to execute?
IMO, there are worse things than not repealing Obamacare, e.g., repealing Obamacare but replacing it with something that is only a little better, thus shifting the blame to Republicans.
To make it really better you'd have to eliminate the subsidies to insurers, have no minimum coverage, no list of what must be covered, no requirement to cover pre-existing conditions, no penalty for not buying it. Probably a few others.
But it won't happen. The camel already has his nose under the tent, and the Democrats will have their disastrous single-payer system within a few years.
As Trump said in his speech last night, McConnell has to step up and eliminate the filibuster rule...across the board.
It’s not a law, nor is it covered under the Constitution directly other than to say the Senate can make their own rules.
But McConnell wants to feed the swamp. He’s the last thing standing between the Democrat agenda and the Republican agenda. His job is to man that stone wall.
I just get tired of hearing how great the Freedom Caucus is. If they’re so wonderful, why isn’t Meadows even mentioning the need to repeal Obamacare.
