Better to see the conviction overturned on appeal. It would take some heat off the prez and prove that the judicial system works, at least part of the time.

Still, I’m glad Trump raised the issue in yesterday’s speech.

I still believe that a judge(judicial branch) cannot tell a
Sheriff(executive branch) what his job is unless it’s shown to be in violation of the laws set by the (legislative branch). It’s in our constitution as separation of powers
where all branches of government are separate but equal.

Sheriff Joe is not in jeopardy of going to jail is he? Had not heard that one. I would assume with his law enforcement record, no judge would go there....or would they?

Arpaio, I think, wants a pardon. The guy is 85 and probably does want to take a chance he might die going through and appeals process.
