As a fan of Irish-Scottish singing group Celtic Thunder, I love “Mull of Kintyre”. Sadly, George Donaldson, the only Scotsman in the group died suddenly at age 46 of a heart attack. All of the current group are from Ireland.

Did you run out of juice?
No Mull berries?
To: DUMBGRUNT
No mull berries We don't got the mullberries up here in the high Rockies.
Bull berries...oh yeah.

Yes, the other A-side, “Girls School” was pushed here in the states. Did not do much and I never hear it now. Ever.
Maybe it’s kind of creepy for a 35 year old man to be singing about a girls’ school.

Yeah, Girls School was a bit of a dirty rocker. A big push was made by Capitol with a picture sleeve for the double A-side release back then. Neither song charted well here.

I found a good video of McCartney performing Mull of Kintyre in Hamilton, Ontario last year.
