I’m not a fan of this war, but I just wanted to remind people who are posted some tweet from 2013, that Presidential Candidate last year was for staying and fighting in Afghanistan due to it’s location near Pakistan. Same as he mentioned last night.
While I’m not happy with us over there or sending more troops, POTUS said he’d stay when running for President.
For all the people claiming McMaster is the puppet master now the other puppet master Bannon is gone. Trump is his own man.
Another place for a little back ground are the youtube documentaries. One that I found informative was:
The Mughal Empire (Documentary on India’s Great Mughals)

Afghanistan is a place and people of and for war.
Only power and the willingness to use brute force works.
At one time, there were well-armed US military forces in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Between those two countries lies Iran, a country with whom the US has known no peaceful intent since 1979, when the Shah was forced from the throne. It would have been a simple thing, in 2005 and beyond, to maintain a daily overflight of Iran, both for observation purposes and as an intimidation factor, so the Iranian ayatollahs would know full well that the next overflight could well contain Massive Open-Air Burst bombs, threatening every one of their military and nuclear research facilities.
But NOOOOOO. The US had to be “gentlemanly” and not use their military for any other than “peaceful” purposes. Then we got the Wussiest of all Wussies installed in the White Hut, and it was a surrender monkey display that far outdid even the most craven retreat by any French forces anywhere.
The next play has to be from far back from the line of scrimmage. Even punting is not an option.
The other team must never have possession of the ball.
