Conservative commentator Pat Buchanan warns North Korea's nuclear escalation, deteriorating relations with Russia and China, and U.S. engagement in the Middle East are a growing challenge for the U.S. military — and President Donald Trump "may need those transgender troops."
In a piece for World Net Daily, Buchanan chides that, "Apparently, U.S. wars in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Somalia are insufficient to satiate our War Party."

Dear Mr. Buchanan, if this country needs so called transgender troops then we have already lost. The same holds true for homosexuals, gang members, criminals, illegal aliens, traitors, and spies. All these and more used to be kept out of our armed forces. And America and the rest of the world was much safer then.
But Mr. Buchanan, you just keep on drinking the Kool-Aid.
Ask Donald Trump. He promised. If he hasn't delivered, then what are the options?
1. He was just saying what he thought would sell.
2. He would like to deliver, but he's not powerful enough.
Did he think he would be powerful enough, but he was wrong? Did he just broad-brush promise, and not really care if he could deliver? Is he a puppet of forces?
