Amid calls for her resignation, a Democratic state senator in Missouri on Sunday said she made a mistake for posting on Facebook Thursday that she hopes President Donald Trump is assassinated.
State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal — who has said she isn’t resigning over the post — apologized at a press conference streamed live on the Facebook page of the Clayton Times, a St. Louis County newspaper.

I’d like to thank her for creating such a wonderful opportunity: any GOPer with stones (there are a few) will use her hate-speech against the Dems come election time.
She should be beaten with in an inch of her life ,, revived and start over until she really feels remorse .
She has only apologized because some of her own people have tossed under the bus . She meant what she said the first time .
A call to violence by a Dem politician is destructive for them as well as rare.
You really can’t just say I’m sorry after you called for someone’s violent death.
She needs to be removed from office. Vote her out!
