Dude, who stole my Trump-Russia collusion investigation?
Ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, appeared on CNN's State Of The Union today with host Jake Tapper and the interview was much more notable for what was not asked than what was discussed. And what was not asked was anything about Schiff's Trump-Russia collusion investigation. The very absence of this topic screamed loudly since almost everybody now aware of Schiff know him solely because of his role in the investigation to nowhere. This was heightened by the fact that until very recently Schiff would typically be questioned with great hopeful anxiety about how his investigation was going, always with the idea of impeachment not far away. That now seems to be gone to be replaced by the new Confederate statues shiny object and whether Trump could be 25th Amendmented out of office.
Here is Tapper asking Schiff about many topics except the one that seemed, until recently, to be his primary mission in life.

Yes, but notice how the pivot to "Trump is a racist" was so perfectly choreographed. They are AMAZING.
Because they both know the dots lead to DWS, the Awan family and Seth Rich’s murder. So all the sudden it’s a non-issue. Time to start up some new conspiracy theory, huh democrats?
I just looked up the definition of Jerk in the dictionary. There is a picture of Adam Schiff.
These people are insane.
As a journalist he is a party lackey for the Dems.
They should just admit Russia is bullshit.
LOL - yes I saw his picture next to the definition too...
Here’s something you might enjoy - turns out Obama’s family owned slaves:

from link:
“According to the research, one of Obamas great-great-great-great grandfathers, George Washington Overall, owned two slaves who were recorded in the 1850 census in Nelson County, Ky. The same records show that one of Obamas great-great-great-great-great-grandmothers, Mary Duvall, also owned two slaves.”
The Baltimore Sun retraced much of Reitwiesners work, using census information available on the Web site ancestry.com and documents retrieved by the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, among other sources. The records show that Overall, then 30, owned a 15-year-old black female and a 25-year-old black male, while Mary Duvall, his mother-in-law, owned a 60-year-old black man and a 58-year-old black woman.

Thanksgiving-Christmastime, What issue will raise the most money? That will be the determinant.
Unfortunately that seems to be true for both left and right. I was hoping that after Nov 2016 the number of appeals for money in my Yahoo account would decline. Fortunately, most of them go to spam now. The senders do not act on unsubscribe. To them it means I’m paying attention to the begging.
But even now, I’m deleting dozens every day. I have never given money to any political cause (except 1 local race in Hanover Pk and 1 local race in E Dundee). You’d think their great AI would figure this out and drop me from their list.
Several historical dynamics - One, folks descending from those coming over on slave ships were not allowed to be free - They had to be owned by someone. Good people would provide the cover of ownership and allow these folks a home. Based on the ages, these four could very well have been Father, Mother, Son and Daughter.
Census records back then would not show any family information. Current day black folks run into a wall on census information prior to 1870, Before that details were very sketchy and many inferences must be made.
I like that - and hope it’s the case with Obama’s mother’s family.
