While Trump’s physical safety is assured, character assassins like Tennessee GOP Sen. Bob Corker await. Corker, who is up for reelection in 2018, has announced with his remarks about President Trump’s stability and competence, Corker’s lack of both:
Sen. Bob Corker delivered his harshest criticism of President Trump yet, telling an audience in Chattanooga on Thursday that Trump has not demonstrated that he understands the character of the nation and has not shown the competence needed to lead. "The president has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability, nor some of the competence, that he needs to demonstrate in order for him to be successful -- and our nation and our world needs for him to be successful, whether you are Republican or Democrat,” the Tennessee Republican said at a Rotary Club meeting in Chattanooga…
“He also recently has not demonstrated that he understands the character of this nation,” Corker told reporters following his luncheon address. “He has not demonstrated that he understands what has made this nation great and what it is today. And he’s got to demonstrate the characteristics of a president who understands that. Without the things I just mentioned happening, our nation is going to go through great peril.”

TN woke up to deny its algore the presidency; then it went back to sleep and has remained uninformed since.
Corker just didn’t recently become a rino...he’s been firmly in that camp for many years. Why does he continue to be relected? I think for the same reasons Haslam is governor. The voters of TN are too bright. That and they love govt handouts when someone else is paying. Some other notables the TN electorate loved: Jim Sasser, the Gores senior and jr.
Because the Liberal Tennessee Republican Party wants to continue picking the states senators and they will be liberal, thus as one poster has stated, one moderate, tons of conservatives promised lots of graft and $$$ on the side if they continue to allow the election of liberal Republican senators from Tennessee.
Great! These Republican politicians actually have the nerve to think we will vote for them again after the way they have treated President Trump and me/us as a voter? Little Marco is safe for now and all the rest of them, but hopefully we won’t forget how they betrayed us.

Tennesseans should be voting Sen. Mae Beavers for Governor, the rest are NOT conservatives, La Raza Boyd loves his Illegals/refugees, Diane Black has scandals as US Rep. Not as conservative as she was when she was a State legislator. Beavers wants to REPEAL halsam’s gas tax hike, is PRO GOD, LIFE, GUN and Constitution, NO NEW TAXES!
