Axios reports:
Axios’ Jonathan Swan hears Bannon has told friends he sees a massive opening to the right of Fox News, raising the possibility that he’s going to start a network.
Bannon’s friends are speculating about whether it will be a standalone TV network, or online streaming only.
Before his death in May, Roger Ailes had sent word to Bannon that he wanted to start a channel together. Bannon loved the idea: He believes Fox is heading in a squishy, globalist direction as the Murdoch sons assume more power.
Now he has the means, motive and opportunity: His chief financial backer, Long Island hedge fund billionaire Bob Mercer, is ready to invest big in what’s coming next, including a huge overseas expansion of Breitbart News.

The Country that elected Donald Trump President is outside the bubble... and there’s lots of us...

from link:
“The Murdoch boys can play it safe and hold fast to the conservative audience that built Fox News, but this would require them to suppress their Inner Liberal (as well as that of their wives). “
“If one lives inside the LA/NY/DC bubble, and thinks Donald Trump and his supporters are toxic, it might appear on the surface that shifting leftward would be a good business move. Again, though, that requires that one live in the bubble.”
Who’s “right wing” in banking and business?
They are all PC and support left-leaning causes.
They especially want open borders and transnational government to facilitate cheap labor crossing borders, easy access to markets in various parts of the world and so on.
Hobby Lobby leadership supported RINO Marco Rubio for POTUS and Marco won the country in Arkansas (Benton) where Wal-Mart’s headquarters are located.
Some businesses front for the GOPe a lot like Sinclair Television, based in Baltimore, which owns lots of TV stations across the country.
That causes the Left to call them “Right Wing”.
We pay almost $100 per month for Dish.
A Conservative network to rival the MSM.
This is where Glenn Beck started to go, before he went Bats*it Crazy.
He does have an entire infrastructure in place, including a studio in freedom-loving Texas.
Maybe an opportunity to begin again . . .?
Good!! Shouldn't be too hard to do since Faux news? has slowly sunk down into the cesspool since the departure of Roger Ailes. The Murduch children have gradually taken a once successful business enterprise and strangled it to death in the name of political correctness. MORONS !
AT&T is putting CNN up for sale. He should buy it, fire everyone of the anchors, and rename it Conservative News Network - thus maintaining the CNN name and logo.
The only difference between a “real network” and online streaming is access to the major cable and satellite delivery systems. That’s why OANN is stifled, but if Bannon can gain access, it would be a major win.
I remember America’s Voice and Paul Weyrich! I watched it religiously on C-Band. Within in a yr of my watching the show, Fox started on Cable. It was a long time ago, but it seemed that soon after, Paul was very sick and died.
I would love to see FR involved with a conservative TV news channel, in so capacity. I don’t have doubts some big players read this sight for the latest opinions.
Dish needs an alternative. Lots of unwatched or unwanted channels to get the 5 you want, all at a high price
“Needs a little work.....?” What? You think he should look and sound like everyone else? My only criticism would be that he could lose Chuck Krautendinger and nobody would weep too much. His hour seems to pass much FASTER than Hannity’s. Sean is too repetetive and has too much minutia. IMHO.
Conservatives will tune in, of course. They have been continuously rubbed raw thanks to the treatment of President Trump by his (our) domestic enemies.
More than anyone else, conservatives are hungry for truth in journalism and they will tune in to see if Bannon will fill the void created when Fox was assimilated.
They alone would supply a rating winning audience, but wait...there's more!
The progressive GOPe and demonrat uniparty is so obsessed with Bannon and Trump that they won't be able to ignore anything Bannon does.
In spite of themselves, the uniparty can't and won't make themselves stay away from whatever Bannon does next.
Wahoo, what fun this could be!
What are you babbling about? Everyone is getting streaming channels through Roku, Amazon Fire, or Google Chromecast. They are not buying cable or satellite bundles anymore.
Breitbart can simply live-stream the news for about $5-$10 bucks a month. Plus, they can offer original content (like specials showcasing the failures of liberal policies) on that same channel.
You do not need a channel in the traditional television sense.
You don't have to force them to do anything. Screw 'em.
OANN is available on Roku or any other streaming device. Breitbart can easily do the same. In fact, they should have done this years ago.
Yeah, I watch it on DirectTV and it's pretty good, but they could kick it up a notch.
LOL! How do you think Netflix is on in almost every household? It sure as hell isn't part of a cable or satellite bundle, unless it was already part of a Smart TV.
You do not need cable or satellite.
You do not need cable or satellite.

I do. Speak for yourself, please.
Netflix is not a news source. Different animals.
Brilliant timing; if truly conservative it will leave FOX in the dust!
The Murdoch boys are p-whipped cucks.
Their Hillary-loving lefty wives are running the show.
I am talking about cable/satellite in the delivery sense. They are no longer needed to carry a channel.
Netflix is not a news source.
Who said they were? It's available in almost every household. How is that since they're not included in a cable or satellite bundle?
