The letter is incredible, but even more, to me, is reading remarks following reports of the letter, and reports on Mnuchin's response. The left literally believes that Trump is a nazi, or at least it is pretending to believe that, and wants the world to belive that. The belief suits their aims.

It is part of the herd mentality of the left. Once a meme is put forth, they react like Pavlov's dog. They jumped on the bandwagon on Trump's collusion with the Russians in much the same way. Facts are irrelevant. They hope to keep this up until Trump resigns or until 2020. They smell blood in the water.

Looks like history may be repeating itself. The French revolution first took out the Establishment, next they went after the revolutionaries who were not revolutionary enough.
