A week ago Trump said there were "many sides" to the Charlottesville conflict and used the term "ALT-LEFT."
The press went insane. Absolute chaos as Trump pointed out these are fringe groups on both sides of the political spectrum.
Since then CNN (Jake Tapper) ran a story - their first ever - about Antifa seeking "peace through violence."
ABC ran their first story about Antifa in a 20/20 show about the "Alt-Right" and Antifa. It presented them both as small, fringe groups in conflict.
The MSM has now confirmed what Trump said at the press conference was correct. They've completely reversed themselves within a week!
He may not even have to campaign in 2020. Just do one of those “front porch” campaigns like a politician from the 19th Century.

This is a complete collapse of the MSM narrative.
Prior to Trump’s genius press conference the violence in Berkley was a “natural response” (Obama’s phrase for violence) to the Nazi Milo (the Nazi gay libertarian, that is).
They’ve completely collapsed now and are admitting that Trump was right.
All this within a week. MSM is running behind social media and sources like Breitbart, etc. They realized they had to admit Antifa is a violent extremist group or they’d lose even more credibility.
Another genius move by Trump today. He tweeted approval for the Boston counter demonstrators opposing racism. Then shortly thereafter tweeted there were some “agitators” within the crowd assaulting the police and that was bad.
So Trump successfully has divided the violent extremists from the mainstream Democrats - something MSM / Soros / etc. have not wanted to do.
Antifa fights zero fascist 99% of the time. Instead they destroy starbucks, beat up old hyppi libertarians and profess their sodomitic Marxist cult calling racist anyone they wish to molest or rob (dictatorship of bourgeois cop out).

President Trump needs to understand that the movement is still out there and that these handful POS basement dwellers cannot put us down. He needs to do a call to arms and do it soon.
The MSM had no stories on Antifa until Trump’s presser. They wanted it to be a ‘grassroots spontaneous reaction’ to ‘alt-right Nazis’ that led to the various riots when folks like Coulter, Milo, Shapiro, etc. spoke at colleges.

I am old and fed up and, eartick, you have put it in a nutshell.
Frankly, I do not understand catering to accepting the violence of some 10-25% of our population who advocate violence as a solution, lying as a solution, distortion of facts as a solution and who follow Soros, Clinton, etc.
Be done with them. Arrest them and charge them with sedition and send them to jail for years. Make them pay back in money they earn for all damage they cause including destruction of everything they did.
I think, in addition, we ought to ship off to Europe and Britain, our Congress, both houses and both parties to any Muslim/Islamic country and keep them there for a long time. We need to separate out the people who self identify as liberals and put them all in gated and guarded communities at our institutions of higher learning.

So your saying these hate groups were not around a year ago under Obama. Frankly I think Obama and his policies spawned them. But they have always been there in one form or another. And they grow larger when the left has control. They have to hate something.
At least "Fractured Fairy Tales" featured Edward Everett Horton as the narrator, and it was sandwiched in between Rocky episodes and Mr. Peabody. What kind of sandwich is ABC serving up, I wonder?
I have a problem with these tweets as only one is true; the "agitators" are Antifa and BLM and like radical Islamic terrorism, they have to be named and destroyed.
