The Salvation Army, the American Red Cross and Susan G. Komen on Friday joined a growing exodus of organizations canceling plans to hold fundraising events at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, deepening the financial impact to President Trumps private business amid furor over his comments on Charlottesville.
The major exits now mean eight of the clubs biggest event customers have abandoned it this week, likely costing the Trump business hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost revenue or more.

More money for local churches.
These fake charities can shove it for succumbing to PC.
So much for me giving money to the Salvation Army anymore. You are correct, this will hurt them.
SA another one on scratch off list.
For over 20 years I have volunteered to ring the bell in front of the red kettle at Christmas for the Salvation Army. Since they have now become a political organization worthy of losing their tax exempt status, last Christmas was my LAST time wasting my time on their behalf!!!
Okay, the Red Cross and the Susan G. Komen Foundation, I can understand. But the Salvation Army!? I had such great respect for the S.A. Very sad news.
And no, I don’t buy the Army’s pathetic excuse for pulling out:
“Because the conversation has shifted away from the purpose of this event, we will not host it at Mar-a-Lago,” spokesperson Kurt Watkins said.
The Cleveland Clinic has done this as well...
When my father got off the troopship after more than three years in the Pacific the Red Cross tried to charge him for a donut and coffee.
disgusting.
They’re not going to like what I put in the Kettle this Christmas.
This is what it means to sell everything you have and follow Him. Trump has chosen the right path and his choice was to lose all his riches. Can he withstand this loss? He will need lots of prayers. The Founding Fathers sacrificed greatly for the greater good. They believed that with God, they would prevail.
When it comes to donating, consider the Little Sisters of the Poor as a worthy replacement for the Salvation Army.
Be that as it may, I'll cut the kettle off this year since they have obviously been leaned on and they caved. Another community done been organized.

When I gave to the Combined Federal Campaign I made sure my money went to other charities.
Susan Komen is a scam, keeping the breast cancer industry $ high and encouraging healthy women to undergo life threatening treatment.
Sad about the Salvation Army. Donated a lot to them. No more.
bttt
You’re the guy who puts the $1,000 gold coin in the kettle?
That list is getting awfully long, though. Someone mentioned giving money to churches, but even some of those have been compromised.
The Salvation Army has received my last check. I will sent them note explaining to them why they will get no more.
Donations@salvationarmyusa.org.
They heard from me—let them hear from you.
Trump is the only President since Reagn who is not embarrassed by Christians, and his platform addresses almost all the things the SA is involved with.
And I’m sure he has been very generous to them over the years.
Nice betrayal.
I think you’re right about SGK - seems like a lot of hype.
And men in pink heels? Well, thats.......
Been to Jack in the Box yet? ;)
