Actually..........they do have a Confederate grave stone on George’s Island that had a military prison on it during the Civil War, yep Gov Baker (R) wants it removed.

I grew up singing/knowing Foster's songs at school and the morons who want to tear down his statue and destroy him/wipe him from history, are destroying not only beautiful music, but their own heritage too! Fosters was so far removed from being a racist, it is laughable! He was respectful towards negros, when that was an unusual position to have! He promoted a form of their music and culture and enshrined it in the very fabric of this nation and they're "complaining" about that?
Isn't it bad enough ( or good enough, depending on ones point of view ) that Foster and his music has been pretty much completely IGNORED for the last 6y0 years ?
