This is a post I wrote in another thread but needs repeating, though I have edited it to add more material:
I’ve been telling people that Bannon is a fraud for a number of months now. There are many good reasons to believe this, but people have their tribal affiliations and do not so easily break free of them.
Bannon brought this on himself by spreading the disinformation that McMaster had given Susan Rice security clearance, even though all he gave her was access to her own work product as was necessary, especially if she was going to soon be testifying.
Stone’s criticism of Bannon here is completely accurate and should not be a surprise to anyone who remembers Bannon’s less than honest hijinks during the nomination process.
Sadly, Bannon, like most professional conservative pundits, was only interested in one thing: self-aggrandizement and money. Because conservatives have so few media outlets of our own, tooting your own horn and creating your own founding myth is pretty easy, especially since few are paying enough attention to point out the truth.
The honest among us are far and few and conservatives need to recognize this.
Take the medicine folks. It tastes bad but we need it.
All the lies about Bannon being the “Trump campaign,” making all the decisions, making all the plans, were lies straight from Bannon and the MSM intent on painting Trump as a soulless goon with no positions of his own.
just stop
Bannon was part of Breitbart one of the only reasons we still have a voice in the media and GETS what DJT voters are about.
Bannon was the last one pushing the agenda.
Trump is finished. He’s surrounded by Dems and Rinos

You’re probably right. Trump probably got tired of the hysterical McMaster stuff from Breitbart. It just went on and on for weeks.
Just like Roger Stone. Actually, as much as I dislike Bannon, Roger Stone is far worse.
It seems a lot of people on this thread are jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon. It’s an insult to Trump to infer he’s just a front man for the real brains, Steve Bannon. I didn’t vote for Bannon, and certainly didn’t have him up on a pedestal like some do. Trump got himself where he is today. Stop the silliness, please.
Are you sure?
And I REFUSE to take any meds. No thanks.
Why are you peddling that misinformation about the S Rice clearance?
Unfortunately both Bannon and Trump seem to have made a boatload of mistakes in the WH.
But God help us with the McMaster cabal in charge now.
“Ive been telling people that Bannon is a fraud for a number of months now. “
Spot on. You have good instincts.
Interesting post. I’ve been a Bannon fan for a long time, then a Trump booster from the first day he stepped onstage at a debate, I saw them as a team. Man of action plus man of deep political knowledge. I like the combination.
If all you say about Bannon is true, I feel slightly better about his leaving. Slightly.
