BANNON OUT AT WHITE HOUSE
According to NYT: “Trump is still debating the time and manner of Bannons exit and may still change his mind, the Times reported, citing two administration officials.”
I’ve been with Trump since day one. Actually before that, when he was on Michael Savage in 2012 and hinted that he might run and I was hoping he would..
I never thought about Bannon one way or the other. Didn’t vote for him. Don’t care about him.
Trump will lose me if tax cuts don’t happen or he appoints a squish to the Supreme Court.
Trump is surrounded by globalist Free Traders.
And Cruz and Carly Forina?
It seems a lot of people on this thread are jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon. It’s an insult to Trump to infer he’s just a front man for the real brains, Steve Bannon. I didn’t vote for Bannon, and certainly didn’t have him up on a pedestal like some do. Trump got himself where he is today. Stop the silliness, please.
Well, we know *Bannon’s* not leaving the fight. We can now take up dirty pool against the Left without having to drag the WH in it.
Yeah, remember, he told us he is president of ALL the people, and a “uniter”.
But what he apparently didn’t understand was, in order to restore the republic, one should NOT “unite” with American citizens who are, in fact, domestic terrorists, and who ARE the problem.
Oh well, at least some of us now realize our expectations were way too high.
Bushie III. No doubt Perrino is ecstatic.
Exactly. Personally I did not vote for Bannon, I had not even heard of him. There are a few in Trump’s circle who talk too much: Ivanka and Bannon being two of them.
McMaster still needs to go.
Losing.
You’ve got a White House gig? That must be cool.
I didn’t know they were friends of Gingrich.
OANN say resigned.
Next Trump will hire Dan Perino.
Stephen Miller remains along with Sessions. Bannon may be more effective outside the WH given the way the deck was stacked against him. As long as Miller stays, the Trump agenda on trade and immigration will go forward.
“However, his statement on no military options in NK did him in. Completely undercuts the presidents attempt to suggest there are options.”
An extremely reckless and dangerous thing for anyone connected to a President to say.
Sorry - I meant to reply to the same concerner you did!
Can James Baker be far behind?
Now Bannon can go back to watching his beloved pornography full time. Don’t shake that guys hands.
By the way, about Breitbart: no one remembers that Breitbart, early on, had direct ties to the Cruz campaign. They gave data to Cruz, they gave him emails and poll results, they even lied about Cruz's record, claiming Cruz had never supported H1Bs or green card expansions in his legislation. Breitbart was even using Mark Levin's fantasy "Conservative Ratings" in all their news articles, and also twisted Cruz's record whenever it came under analysis.
People think Breitbart was a Trump site only because it was less hostile to Trump than all the other websites. Ben Shapiro himself left Breitbart because only 50% of their writers and journalists hated Trump. He wanted them to be completely anti-Trump.
Bannon didn't help things and obviously was happy taking money from Cruz's megadonors, to push his agenda and aid his campaign directly with data and fake "ratings" that supposedly made Cruz the most conservative senator ever, even more conservative than Sessions, through very selective reporting of facts, or outright distortions in other areas.
I forgave Bannon ultimately for this and never annoyed anyone around here with a jihad, but I've been telling folks everywhere, all over the bloody internet, that Bannon's time would be short, and that we ought not mourn his inevitable removal.
Trump will never get the party nomination now.
