A Charlottesville police officer has come forward to express his outrage at being told to stand down by the city mayor during violent clashes between protesters.
The officer also claims the protests, which pitched white supremacists against members of Antifa, were set up to allow for the groups to ignite into exactly what happened.
We [Charlotesville police] were ordered to bring the rival groups together. As soon as they were in contact with each other, we were told to stand down. It was outrageous. We werent allowed to arrest anyone without asking the mayor first. We werent even allowed to stop the driver as he sped away.
The event was being set up as far back as at least May and it went like clockwork.

What a GIANT DISAPPOINTMENT he's become.
DOJ Sessions.. helping to keep the swamp from being drained.

these dam cops need to publicly speak up ..
The whole event was filmed from several angles in glorious high definition by the Virginia National Guard. Where are those tapes?
Plenty of pundits abroad looking at this from afar have stated the same: it is obviously a set up with the hope of a couple dead people.
It is so obvious even British or French people see it.
Sessions disgusts me even more indeed that Obama would have gotten all over this for his side. Sessions has no motivation at all.
Reminds me of the Baltimore riots.
When you compare this thread with the videos of people who were there on the scene it’s a no brainer. What the policeman is saying is right on.
From what I recall the chief of police was telling the men what to do. He was directed by the mayor who is just another budding commie looking for a promotion to the next level. Maybe a higher office in state government with his buddy “the punk” Terry McCauliffe.
