Washington Post are liars. President Trump did no such thing. He correctly said that Antifa is a hate group that employs violence. Ironically, no group in the United States more precisely embodies fascist behavior.

Such as attempting to shut down free speech. IMO, they should be charged with hate crimes when they harass, attack and assault people based solely on differing political viewpoints, as people here in the US have a right to say or believe just about anything they want, no matter how crazy. You don't have to like or agree with it.
