Lenin ?
He’s their HERO
Exqueeze me?! Then why does anyone other than the property owner get a frickin' say?!
Dang, beat me to it.
oddly this is a great victory for us to finally have someone on the left acknowledge the evil of communism and Lenin ...The Antifa is a Communist front group
if he has links it to a Confederate statue I’ll take it
I said nothing when they came for the Confederate statues/memorials.
Isn’t Murrey up on child molestation charges ?
The property owners should tell the good Mayor to stuff it.
will be ironic if the Antifa came out to protest the taking down of that Lenin statue
who knows maybe that’s the answer to reveal who the antifa are the we start having anti communist protest
Guaranteed, but not until after they go after the founders.
In the People's Republic of Seattle? Does private property even exist?
Lenin statue in Seattle?
Oh the IRONY
I hope “someone” is thinking about where these works of art can be stored until this BS Monument Lynch mob comes to its senses.
He molested his foster kids. He’s a pervert and an idiot. His quote about Seattle residents “concerns and frustration over symbols of hate, racism and violence that exist in our city.” Anytime I look at a Demoncrat, I think of them as symbols of hate, racism and violence. Let’s get rid of all libs.
Equal time for Lenin?
That Commandment against graven images is looking better and better.
He is trying to divert from his child molestation cases (mounted a’A Few Good Men’ when they were boys.)
On the other hand he’s commissioned a new statuary hall for Seattle depicting “The Sins of Leviticus”
You raise an excellent point and a question that I have been pondering as well. Where are the statues being relocated? I have seen some scant mentions in the articles of the monuments being relocated to museums or private property, but I can't imagine that some of these monuments won't simply be destroyed by these totalitarians.
As a side note; all of this zeal on the left has prompted me (a northeastern yankee) to make a donation to The Confederate Memorial Hall museum in New Orleans.
The Lenin statue is private property and is on sale for the low, low price of a quarter of a million buckaroos. Let Hizzoner buy it and he can do whatever he likes with it. But not with public money.
Just a few days ago I emailed Murray about the Lenin statue, and I got a polite and non-dismissive reply. The statue is on private property, so I don’t think the City can order it removed, but I pointed out to the mayor’s office that he could use his “bully pulpit” to exert pressure to have it removed.
