Shall I go on, or do you want to troll a little more?

Troll? You a$$hole. I have been a strong Trump supporter since the day he descended down the elevator in Trump Tower to declare his candidacy. I volunteered on his primary and general election campaigns and donated money. I have unwavering support of Trump to this very minute.

The upcoming midterms won't be a referendum on Trump, but rather a do-nothing Congress that has accomplished nada. The GOP-controlled Congress has failed to give Trump one legislative victory.

They failed to repeal and replace Obamacare. We will see what happens with tax reform, infrastructure, building the Wall, and other Trump agenda items that require Congressional approval. So far, the GOP-controlled Congress has failed to demonstrate that they can govern. They can't reach a consensus on anything except they dislike Trump.

How enthusiastic will Rep and independent voters be to reelect a do-nothing Congress? Why should they turnout for a Congress that fails to defend the President from his enemies and many of them are joining with the Dems to criticize Trump openly? The silence is deafening when it comes to standing up for the President and his agenda. How many of these bastards will be primaried? They need strong opponents in the primary and that is just not happening with a few exceptions.

The #NeverTrumpers are in high gear after Charlottesville. They smell blood in the water. Rubio, McConnell, Graham, McCain, Ryan, Kasich, the Bushes, et. al. have openly gone after Trump. Who in the Senate and the House is defending Trump on this issue?

Nehlen was and is a lousy candidate. He will never take down Ryan. And the GOP caucus begged Ryan to be Speaker and approved him twice. Ryan still has high approval ratings in a fairly liberal district. The best we can hope for Ryan is that he be removed as Speaker.

First, the GOP is not 5-0 in special elections. Here is a rundown of special and other elections and the calendar for 2017.

The GOP held on to its seats in KS, GA, MT, and SC. The Dems held on to its seat in CA. The GOP turnout was lower than it should be. It will be interesting to see what happens in the Gov races in NJ and VA. IMO the Dems will win both races in what are now solid blue states when it comes to statewide elections.

The Dems will be more energized thant the Reps. The MSM will help fuel it along with the mobs led by Antifa and BLM. With very few exceptions, the party in power in the WH loses seats in the subsequent midterms. The only question is how many. The advantages of gerrymandering should still give the Reps control of the House, but they will lose seats. In the Senate, the Dems have far more seats at risk than the Reps. The question is can the Reps overcome the advantages of incumbency and will they have strong candidates to run against Tester, Mancin, McCaskill, Donnelly, Brown, and Heitkamp who are the most vulnerable. Flake and Heller are the two most vulnerable Reps both in the primary and general election. And even if they are replaced in the primary, these will be difficult states to hold on to.

And there are the unkowns. A lot can happen between now and November 2018. Events and unforeseen issues could be major factors.

OK, I agree about the swamp-dwelling GOP-e. The *only* things which bug me about trump are his persistence in naming swamp-dwellers to high positions, and his failure to go after Hillary.

The Congress is banking on the "where else are they going to go" and as part of the Uniparty, that "if they elect Democrats, we'll be out of power but we can make even more as lobbyists, and in the meantime we're rid of Trump."

Problem is, with the mood ratcheted up to 11 like it is, if Trump loses and there is the merest *hint* of cheating...the gasoline hits the fire.

And if there is any kind of physical attack -- instant Civil War.
