> Why grow food if it will just be taken away? <
About a month ago I read an article about a Venezuelan chicken farmer. He had a rather big operation, and at one time was able to supply much of a neighboring town with meat.
Well, the government set the price of a chicken below what it costs to raise a chicken. So the farmer simply stopped raising chickens.
Armed soldiers begging for food? They must be out of ammo.
>>>This might sound weird, but CNN was actually conservative in the mid-80s.
Lynn Russell comes to mind. Had a concealed carry license and a PI license, did some PI work on the side for kicks, IIRC.
I wonder if this would be of interest to one Jorge Bergoglio who seems no longer to be interested in matters Venezuelan.
When the sodiers have to beg then I think the end is coming for the regime. If it can’t feed its agents of control they will cease to control and many will become soldiers for the people.
Well, right now Liberals have succeeded in making anything ‘un Liberal’ unfashionable and suspect at every level.
It’s why people (especially the young and the uneducated) are so completely won over and compromised in their thinking...because THEY always want to do and be what is ‘cool’. They cannot tolerate any language or views that expose their lack of understanding.
No Conservative I know is comfortable in expressing his/her views because of the torrent of childish and groundless conduct of Liberals who ALWAYS interrupt and shout down any views not identical to their own.
I’m sure it’s why Hillary THOUGHT she had a lock on the WH! NO Conservatives in the US could or would voluntarily express their views in the work place, in public etc. It SEEMED to her and her creatures that she was THE choice.
