No weapons sounds reasonable. They restrict backpacks at sporting events and other public gatherings so I guess that seems reasonable. Why only two hours? Do they really think that’s as long as they can keep the peace? Doesn’t Boston have a goodly sized swat and riot police?

You can damn well bet if this were in reverse, anyone protesting would be arrested (or shot) on the spot. It's open game on white people in this country, and seems they are willing to let it happen.
All of boasting about taking care of business when the time comes is a crock, particularly since no one will come out and say what specifically it will take to fight back.
Antifa shows up, commits an act of violence, and the city obligingly shuts down a free speech rally as though it was Antifa’s dutiful servant.

If the organizers have even a little common sense, the demonstration will be ringed with armed “pickets”, who will use walkie-talkies give a heads up if they are about to be attacked by armed radicals. Meanwhile, there will be a few car trunks nearby full of weapons, that can be dispensed quickly as needed.
