I was looking for skid marks in all the videos. The only ones I saw were when he backed up. He didnt lock up the brakes going forward anywhere that I could find.
We dont do any of this kinda thing out here in Kansas so I’m the most unqualified.
You won’t see braking skid marks from late model vehicles anymore. Due to anti-lock braking systems. That key component of re-enacting an accident scene has been taken out of the equation.
Anti-lock brakes. Most likely the “skid marks” you saw from him going in reverse are burn marks from him trying to get away from the folks attacking him. I’ve watched some video of the event where he is rolling slowly down the street, his car is then attacked by folks with clubs and bats, he then guns it. I don’t believe he intended to run folks down. I believe from the video and pictures I’ve seen, that he got scared and tried to get away. He should be held accountable for his actions, but I also believe he’ll be sacrificed to left and required pay far more dearly than he should.
