Just as there are RINOs and AINOs (Americans in name only), there are CINOs (Christians/Catholics in name only). There is a probability approaching total certainty that this whole “confrontation” in Charlottesville was funded and pretty much planned out by operatives from “Occupy Wall Street”, the Black Lives Matter commando squads, and even some of the faux “white supremists” and Neo-Nazis who showed up. Pretty bloody, and the lone nut cast who rammed the car through the crowd was probably a complete anomaly, not part of the script. But most of it was some pretty harsh Kabuki Theater.
George Soros should be stripped of his US citizenship, his wealth seized under RICO statutes, and be shipped over to the Ukraine or the Russian Federation to be tried by the Prosecutor General for crimes carried out against those countries. Soros has meddled far too much and far too long in the fiscal and political practices all around the world, and he should make restitution of those stolen funds that make up his treasure here on earth. Or have it done for him.

The Constitution says we have the rights to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. No matter what you think there is no exception to the First Amendment for speech you don’t like. One side had taken the time to get the legal permits and they were betrayed by Democrat politicians into a riot. Our employees failed to protect one side deliberately, valuing their paychecks more than their honor. This whole affair is really quite simple - the uniparty is attempting to set the narrative against President Trump and this was a scripted ploy. I’m not going to tell Christians what to do or think. Make up your own minds with prayer and discernment, in full knowledge of our laws and the facts.

The problem, though, is “who gets to define racism?”
Because right now, the Left is getting to do so, and thus *you* are a racist. You might not think you are, you might even vigiourously deny it, but you are.
Make no mistake - the radical Left is not a “fringe.” People like Vox, Daily Kos, etc. who are ideologically nearly identical with antifa - they are basically mainstream in the Democrat Party, and thus among the various entrenched elements of the Deep State/federal and state bureaucracies which are still in place even after Obama left office.
These folks truly believe the “all whites are racist/gun owners are racist/Republicans are racist/NRA is racist/everybody we don’t like is racist”
They truly believe that American white culture and the nation *as it was founded and built by whites* is inherently racist. I even saw one Left source - a writer for one of their major e-zines - declaring that “white America was the original Nazis,” and doing so entirely unironically.
This is why I’m not spending an inordinate amount of time “distancing” myself from the little neo-Nazi/WN fringe - all this does is plays into their narrative and makes you jump through their hoops.
I’m much more concerned about the attempts to use “Nazis” as a justification for curtailing free speech, and even the ability of opponents of the Left to, say, hold jobs and freely associate, etc., than I am about the “Nazis” themselves. “Nazi” is just the modern version of “kulak,” a nothing term which merely signals that someone is out of favour with the ruling leftist elite.

The left is in high dungeon about slavery in America 150 to 250 years ago.
A practice that our forefathers were wise enough and moral enough to end 150 years ago.
But they have no concern at all for the slavery that exists today in Islamic countries around the world.
They rant about sexual discrimination in America when a man makes a harmless comment to a woman.
But they have no concern for the mental and physical abuse of muslim women who are held in bondage and slavery as the property of muslim men.
They go absolutely berserk when a woman in America accuses a man of rape even if there is no proof that it actually happened.
But it doesn’t seem to bother them that it is the women rape victims in Islamic countries who are punished rather than the raper(s).
Why are Christians coming under attack for something we have nothing to do with?

I guess you are not aware that even the ACLU was suing to stop the removal of the statue. I guess you are not aware of how the city and state worked against the people who had a permit to protest the movement of the statue.
