All that good TAXPAYING $$$, union contracts of perpetual gluttony, while crying their VOLUNTARY position is ‘tough’, got people *HURT* (and killed).
If the ‘peace officers’ can’t keep peace, disband the lot and save the citizens their $$ (and give the ‘hood exactly what they want...police free).
Should be police/mayor+ be found to be caught flat-footed, or ordered to stand-down, they should be fired for incompetence and held personally liable.

In Ferguson , the police were also ordered to stand down and not arrest anyone.
As soon as the thugs realized this they began rioting and looting stores. Once they realized that there was no penalty for rioting leftists were bussed in from all over the country.
Police should have kept the groups separated. they should have arrested anyone committing violence.
The driver of the car was a mentally ill man with a history of arrests for violence against his own mother.
