President Trump had no way of knowing that the cartoon had been altered.

The original cartoon is by Indy Star cartoonist Gary Varvel.

It’s a great cartoon and gif. The powerful Trump train is moving on down the track in spite of many obstacles.

Was there a difference? One cartoon had a Democrat donkey being run over by the Trump train and the other CNN, so they are essentially identical.

“The cartoon was altered without anyone’s knowledge or permission at the Star."

Parody doesn't need your knowledge or permission. It's fair use.

Now they’ve got something on him! This’ll do it! Now they can impeach! Russia impeachment failed. “You’re in great shape” impeachment failed. They couldn’t kick him out of office for not condemning the killing by a “White nationalist” strongly enough. Surely this will be the final blow!

One cartoon had a Democrat donkey being run over by the Trump train and the other CNN, so they are essentially identical.

Did you even look at the cartoons?

They DO NOT show the Trump train "running over" a reporter.

What they do show is a donkey (DNC) attempting to stop the Trump train as evidenced by his heels being dug in resulting in the railroad ties being displaced.

The second cartoon depicts the exact same event except with the reporter having a CNN logo as an identifier.
