There is something on Drudge about Jimmy Fallon getting all emotional on his show the other day. I don’t have cable, but the clips I’ve seen of Fallon’s show at a friend’s house seemed funny. I guess he’s decided to opt for politics instead of humor. Sad.
Oh, and just above that link on Drudge is a story about how Hollywood is having a terrible summer at the box office. I hope that continues and spreads to cable.

I’m running out of decent shows to watch on TV. It’s come to the point that I’m scouring YouTube and Netflix for something that hasn’t been politically tainted....
Strangely enough, I caught Fallon’s act last night; I had turned on the local news to catch the weather wrap-up and neglected to turn off the TV. It was all a fake, a put on, did not really make sense — kept bringing in his small children to freight in his exalted, sensitive emotions— but I guess he got some browning points with his bosses.
I read an article a couple of months back about Jimmy Fallon. It was stated in the article that the un-funny loser Stephen Colbert was starting to dominate Late Night ratings, presumably because of his vitriolic attacks on Trump. Fallon reflected on the interview he had done on his show with Trump back before the election. He had treated Trump fairly, and now regrets having done so because it may have helped elect Trump by showing him in a positive light. The article said that Fallon was now resolved to adopt the Colbert approach and start attacking Trump all the time.
So, basically, you have a guy who "regrets treating Trump fairly" because he is losing the late night audience which is now apparently made up of Maddow-watching ANTIFA types. Yes, it is sad.
Fallon is an alcoholic.
