Ya, that gets me too.
Almost immediately, we hear that this car crashing is an act of terrorism.
Any acts committed by a Moslem which result in injury or death, we are told we can’t jump to conclusions, we can’t know for sure the motive, etc. Events involving a Moslem are never said to be terrorism.
The shooting of five Dallas policemen by a deranged follower of Black Lives Matter was never said to be terrorism. Heck, that action was never even blamed on the rhetoric of Black Lives Matter.
yet, even before we knew more facts in this case, we are told this car crash was terrorism. I don’t get it.

I’ve been shaking my head for the past three days. I don’t get/understand any of it. The one group protesting the removal of Robert E. Lee’s statue from a city park had a permit for a rally. Who invited the counter protesters? Were members of the original group with a permit causing any problem? Did the counter protesters have a permit? If not, why weren’t they thrown out of the area? Oh! - Freedom of Speech, right? WITHOUT A PERMIT?
Why can’t we just deal with the simple story? WHY did the news find the need to LABEL the original protesters? WHY didn’t they put the emphasis on the reason they were there? Did they go to cause trouble? Who were they going to cause trouble with if they were the only ones there?
If the reason for the rally is true, they didn’t want the statue of Robert E. Lee torn down. I don’t either and in spite of where I live now, I grew up in Yankee territory....
For every Confederate statue torn down because of any government’s actions, one statue of civil rights leaders has to go also..along with every street named after them in this country. Erase history - erase ALL OF IT!
Everyone here knows the answers to my questions - the troublemakers in this country can be ready to go at the drop of a hat or transportation from any place in the nation to a place that doesn’t need their interference!
Why did Trump feel the need to placate the complainers and come out a few minutes ago to place labels on the people who had the permit to hold the rally? They are remarking on FOX how great he covered his faux pas from over the weekend. HOW? By further labeling people?
The city was full of idiots that day. We can all agree on that. BUT as others here have said, why don’t we hear this about the driver running his car into the crowd - “We don’t know what his motive was.” That person has been named as being part of the ORIGINAL PROTEST GROUP (who had the permit)...
Had he been part of the counter protesters, how soon would we have heard that news?
People are sick and tired of the double standards practiced every day in this country. And it doesn’t help when the president bows down to the perpetual complainers and feels the need to clarify his remarks....
The fear of being called racist or racist sympathizer has put fear and political correctness into the hearts of almost everyone.. The Left have accomplished their objective.
