Why not ask the cops Ray? It's being alleged they're the ones who are leaking what the driver is saying, that he was scared.

And looking at the videos, he was either scared and in fear for his life, and refused to be taken by a violent mob, who were clearly armed with weapons.

Or it was a terrorist act.

My analysis of the event includes the diagram, the slow motion video, and related comments. If you take issue with an aspect of that analysis I’ll take it into consideration. Until then I stand by my analysis.

The red car plowed into the crowd first. Then the white car was trapped. Then the gray car plowed into the white car at such high speed pushing the first two cars.

Hey, WhereTF were the police? Nowhere to be seen. DERELICTION OF DUTY! Mayor, etc. need to be sued.

My assessment or speculation.... I think it's possible the driver was so scared he thought those people would get out of the way when you hear that bit of acceleration. They didn't nor did the cars that appeared to be blocked by the same crowd. He didn't have time to stop...No where to go. All he had time to do was brake a bit, too late...

It was chaos. And he acted like a man running for his life. That's my take at this point.
