You are right. The USA has been blinded by a politicized intelligence community. I have no confidence in any information coming out of Washington. Unfortunately the president lost the only opportunity we had to correct the situation. Had Trump cleaned out the deep state intelligence rat nest day one he might have survived them.

This isn’t 1960. How is China unable to care for it’s own people? They make hundreds of billions/year in foreign currency earnings, and have as ONE if their assets over $1 trillion of US bonds. Unfortunately, that statement undercuts the credibility of rest of your post (with which I largely agree, BTW).

I don’t think that they have **completely** lost control of Kim, though. First, they can cut off his trade and any further flow if technology, to get his attention...and then remind him where his bread is buttered. Or, in the final analysis, they can have him killed and install someone more rational. JMHO. The ball is in their court.

I agree 100% that the last 3 idiot occupants if 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. are to blame for this whole thing... especially the last guy (who wasn’t really an idiot, but a 5th columnist. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kim wasn’t feeling slighted or insulted that the camel jockeys got $150 billion for rattling around their nuclear program, while he’s only gotten a few $billion her or their. This whole thing could be Kim saying, “Hey! What do I look like, chopped liver? I’ve got nukes and tickets, too!”

“Is the NK dimwit deranged”

Yes. I believe that when he feels he is about to be toppled he will launch what he can. He surely understands he will not survive his Nork enemies with out control of his interior forces.

Sadly, the first thing I would find out is if the intelligence asset was a democrat or not.

That's what I have been thinking. First of all this is the same intel community that showed us pictures of chemical weapons on trucks and insisted that Saddam had them & was moving them around. We never really found those chemical weapons. I am wondering how much, if anything they have correct about NK's capabilities.

Secondly, the is the same intel community hat hates Trump. We hear every day how they are trying to set him up. Now, we are to believe they are providing him with all the correct info on NK. Makes me suspicious that they aren't trying to set him up here also. They would do anything to destroy his presidency.

Third, why all of a sudden is Kim shooting off rockets? Trump didn't do anything to provoke this. Yes, Kim has been unstable for a long time, but why now is he so aggressively off the rails? Has our intel community been feeding him some false information to provoke this?

I don't trust this whole situation.

Damned auto-correct and lack of coffee. Besides a couple of typos and punctuation errors, the last sentence should be:

“Hey! What do I look like, chopped liver? I’ve got nukes and ROckets, too!”

The U.S. has sought comfort and a sense of security by denying that North Korea could produce an ICBM, by refusing to accept that North Korea could miniaturize a nuclear warhead, and by consistently highlighting North Korea’s inability to develop a functional re-entry vehicle.

Now we are reduced to "Twump is a meanie who should leave poor Kim Jong Un alone!!!" :)

I hope Jimmah Carter is proud of his legacy... That 1994 agreement has worked out fantastically.

The question remains......Is that North Korean dimwit really that stupid and mentally deranged enough to do it

************************************************************

Respectfully, I submit that your only half right with the above copied question from your post. The other half is “can we afford to RISK reliance on him NOT being Wacko!?”

Johnny Cochran once said “if it doesn’t fit you must acquit”. I say, “if Kim et al are not certifiably sane, we must attack”.

I think you underestimate the number of Chinese still living hand to mouth in rural China vs. those that live in the large urban cities (that are chok full of pollution) and those working for slave wages in factories like, oh Apple.

By and large, China is not a "wealthy" country like America is. We have a large (yet diminishing...) middle class that makes up the bulk of this country. Can't say that about China.

China artificially grows its economy via currency manipulation, government funded building programs and more. There are small cities that have been built in China complete with housing, roads, electricity, water, etc.. that sit EMPTY and have been empty since being built because the overwhelming majority of Chinese cannot afford to live there.

So that is what I mean when I say China cannot take care of its own people. Two billion people are hard to house, feed, clothe, provide employment for, especially for hard line communists who still believe in central planning for everything. There's no "scale" to communism, it's always been and always will be a race to the bottom.

Thanks for allowing me to respond and clarify.

Now Trump is forced to clean up this mess.

Before we start we have to cut off China with sanctions. And we must warn China because they have built up NK military they are part of the enemy. China, like NK, rattles it cage with fancy parades but their Country without using America they are nothing.
